For direct access to the monuments, get off at the station Roma San Pietro (for the Vatican) or Roma Termini (for the Colosseum and the historic center).
- Travel in Rome: Once you arrive at the station, the Roman metro and bus network is at your disposal. A day ticket (BIRG) is often the most economical option as it covers the return trip by train from the port as well as all unlimited transport in Rome.
